Adapted from some of the UK’s most loved children’s stories by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse is an indoor adventure like no other. With 6 captivating and immersive zones, this experience is a magical place of imagination, creativity, discovery and play.

We are open! The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse opened its doors on Friday 19th May 2023. Click here to book your visit. 

During peak trading times, we will be implementing a wristband system whereby guests are guaranteed a minimum of 90 minutes within the attraction. During off-peak trading times, guests will be permitted to stay as long as they wish.

Yes, The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse is located entirely indoors so will not be affected by the weather. However, please be aware that in winter the Promenade can be very windy therefore we would advise to travel caution.

Yes, you will get the opportunity to meet The Gruffalo himself! Depending on the time of year, you may even be lucky enough to meet another of your favourite characters.

Adults must be accompanied by children to enter The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse. The attraction is designed for little ones. An adult is classed as aged 15 and over. Children are classed as aged 14 and under. Children under the age of 1 are free but require a booking.

No one under the age of 17 will be admitted into the attraction unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Such person must remain under the control or supervision of an adult whilst on site at all times.

The centre has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access. Please take a look at our Accessibility Guide for more information.

We are a cashless attraction. Please be ready to make on-site payments using a ‘contactless’ bank card.

General admission tickets start from £4.50 per adult and £13.50 per child.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be in the attraction at one time.

Booking your visit online before you visit the attraction is highly recommended for all guests. You can book tickets at the attraction on the day of your visit, however walk-up tickets are subject to availability. Please book your tickets online in advance to guarantee entry.

Yes, Merlin Annual Passholders can buy tickets at a reduced rate of £4.50 per adult and £4.50 per child. Click here for more information.

It is easy to readjust your booking to visit at a later date. You can change your ticket date via our booking portal, details of which you can find on your e-ticket. Our booking guarantee allows you to move your ticket up to three times.

We do not offer a different rate for disabled guests. However, if a member of your party has a disability, they will be entitled to admit one free carer with them. Please book the carers ticket along with your other tickets, there will be an option to add this ticket type to the basket.

Please show one of the following items to a member of our Front of House Team on arrival in order to enter with your pre-booked carer ticket:

- A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant (dated within the last 2 years)
- A letter or statement from a professional body (e.g. a Nurse or a BUPA Healthcare Advisor)
- A blue badge along with an additional form of photographic ID
- A DLA letter If you are booking in advance, please book the carers ticket along with your other tickets
