Celebrate your little adventurer’s special day with a truly magical storybook birthday party at The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse. 

Designed for children ages 2-8, our fully hosted birthday parties combine imaginative play, favourite characters, delicious party food and unforgettable moments, all in a unique woodland-inspired setting. 

From the moment guests arrive, our Party Host takes care of everything, giving grown-ups more time to relax and enjoy the celebration.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Every party includes everything you need for a stress-free celebration: 

  • 90 minutes of soft play access: Explore, climb, discover and play throughout The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse. 
  • 45 minutes in our private party room: Enjoy birthday celebrations in our themed Deep Dark Wood Campsite party space. 
  • Dedicated Party Host: Your host will manage the party from arrival through to celebrations, helping everything run smoothly. 
  • Meet & greet: Enjoy a very special appearance from The Gruffalo for magical memories and photos. 
  • Party food & drinks included: Child-friendly favourites including sandwiches, fruit, crisps and unlimited juice. 
  • Digital party invitations: Easy-to-send invitations to get everyone excited before the big day. 
  • Immersive themed experience: Story-inspired décor and memorable moments throughout the celebration. 

Weekends & School Holidays: £25 per child (Availability: 10am, 1pm & 4pm) 

Term Time: £19.95 per child (Availability: 10am & 1pm) 

Party Size: Minimum 10 children. Maximum 25 children  

Adult Entry: 1 adult included per child. 2 birthday adults included free. Additional adults charged at standard admission rates. 

Please Note: Birthday parties are not available to book between 8th November 2026 and 5th January 2027.

Booking & Party Information

Our birthday parties are designed for children aged 2-8 years. 

Birthday parties require a minimum of 10 children and can accommodate up to 25 children per session. 

Your birthday experience includes 90 minutes of play time, plus 45 minutes in your private party room. 

Weekends & School Holidays: 10:00am, 1:00pm & 4:00pm  

Weekdays: 10:00am & 1:00pm

Yes. Every party includes a dedicated Party Host who looks after the celebration from arrival through to the final birthday moment, helping make the experience simple and stress-free. 

Yes. Every party includes a character meet & greet with The Gruffalo to make the celebration even more magical. Special requests can be made to meet a different characters from the world of Julia Donaldson & Axel Sheffler, subject to availability.  

Food & Celebrations

Yes. Party food and drinks are included for children. Typical party food includes sandwiches. Fruit, crisps and unlimited juice. Menu items may vary. 

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking and our team will advise available options. 

You’ll be able to celebrate with cake during your party room experience. Additional cake options may also be available to purchase. Please check booking terms regarding externally supplied cakes. 

Yes. Make the celebration even more memorable with optional upgrades including, Owl ice cream, make your own key ring activity, The Gruffalo-themed cake options, The Gruffalo branded socks and retail goodie bags. Add-ons are subject to availability. 

Parents & Guests

Each party includes 1 adult per child and up to 2 birthday adults. Additional adults are charged at the standard admission rate. 

Additional children may be added subject to availability and capacity limits. 

Comfortable clothes suitable for active play are recommended. All guests are required to wear socks while enjoying the attraction.  

Facilities & Accessibility

Yes. Buggy Park is available near the shoe storage area. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Getting Here & Parking

There is no on-site parking available. 

Closest car parks: 

  • Central Surface Car Park  
  • Central Multi-Storey Car Park  
  • Bonny Street Car Park  

Blue Badge parking may also be available nearby on Bonny Street.  

You’ll find us on Blackpool Promenade, directly opposite the seafront and just a short walk from the town centre.
